Palmer Polaski Welcomes New Associate Attorney Chelsea Strautman

Denver, Colorado, October 30th – Palmer Polaski is pleased to announce that Chelsea Strautman has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney.   “We are very happy to have Chelsea join the Palmer Polaski team.  Chelsea clerked for the firm for the first-half of 2012 and did a wonderful job.  She also interned with Colorado Legal Services and other immigration law firms in town before joining EAH.”  Ms. Strautman is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School.   Before attending law school,  Ms. Strautman worked in Panamá with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), facilitating workshops on women’s rights and conducting domestic violence awareness campaigns in indigenous communities.  She also spent two years lobbying at the Colorado State Capitol with a political advocacy firm in Denver.  Ms. Strautman graduated magna cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded a prestigious scholarship to attend Blackfriars College of Oxford University in England, where she completed a tutorial in philosophical studies.  Ms. Strautman is fluent in Spanish, and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Latin America.  Ms. Strautman’s practice at Palmer Polaski will focus  on asylum, removal defense and family-based and business immigration.
